did you know?
- do not use disposable razors, pens, or other items that have permanent options.
- use rechargeable batteries, one battery can replace up to 1,000 single use batteries.
- use bars of soap instead of liquid, it costs less and conserves oil used to produce plastic & reduces waste.
- choose a refrigerator with the freezer on the bottom and keep it full, it won't use as much energy to keep foods frozen
- choose a front load washer, they use less energy to get clothes clean
- cook in cast iron or stainless steel cookware. non-stick teflon coated pans give off toxic emissions.
- never flush or throw away unused/expired medication. check with local hospitals and pharmacies for collection options
