is a blues club, co-owned by morgan freeman
(a clarksdale native).
this blues club is a hopping place and a
destination for blues enthusiasts during the
many festivals which take place in this city.
when we were there, the smokers were being tendedfor the world famous barbecue from this club.
a step inside, and i immediately realized just how
many visitors come here. every surface had names
and dates permanently written with black markers.
i added my name to one of the pool table covers....
just to say that i had been there.
the sofas and chairs on the front porch....what can i
say? it's a deep south "southern thang".
