under the paper stars

Zamas is a secret destination
on the Mayan Riviera
(made more notable in the
March issue of Southern Living)

it is a colorful, beautiful,
eco-friendly resort.

My cabana sits in the sand
25 yards from the beach

Sandpipers leave footprints
around the tile patio

sun-drenched lounge chairs
next to crystal clear water

brightly painted tables
rest under the paper stars.

Looks and sounds heavenly! I can almost feel the warm sand. (I say as I take off my gloves and scarf.) Have a wonderful stay there.
