grass green

i hear the unexpected

sound of a lawnmower

somewhere in the neighborhood

that must mean that

winter is over

such a summer sound

soon i will smell the

newly mown grass

green is that smell

bright green

grass green

wish i could do a
scratch and sniff
for grass!
