from my bookshelf

a book i picked up (no pun intended....
the writer had an "icepick lobotomy"
when he was 12)

the writing is stilted and a bit disjointed
(after all, there was a lobotomy involved)
but the story is an interesting piece.

one of our book class assignments
is to create a non-traditional book
based on a book we have read
(a form follows function idea
or is it the other way around?)

how does one translate "lobotomy"
into a language for "visual" reading?

I'm on chapter three and so far
there are so many marriages between
the grandparents and parents that i
will be making a family tree just to
remember who is who! talk about
a disfunctional family...
the Cleavers they're not.

let's bounce this one around and see
what happens.
