my new favorite thing to do

this is truly "scrap" booking....
Mary Ann Moss
does a class called "remains of the day"

pages for a book are quilted together (my
term) to a somewhat uniform size,
then all those old ephemera and paper
stuffs get stitched on

it is meant to be a journal....and a way to
keep memorabilia together in a more meaningful
way

so much fun that i have spent the past
3 hours at my sewing machine.
this will be such a good way to make use of
(remake, recycle, reuse....or something
like that)
all of those papers, old books, postcards,
etc. and enjoy them over again.

i haven't completed the first 10 pages
still have lots more stuff to attach
i have just gone through some more
old books and pulled pages from them
so that i can get another 10 pages

then i can bind them....
delightful!!!!!
