while navigating cyberspace i often find words of wisdom
today i was linked to a site that made me really stop and think about my blog.
the jist of it said to me that i have to question "why" i am posting a photo, a quotation, a story or thought.
what does it mean to me? and how do i explain that to my reader?

what was important about my grandmother's scalloped potato dish?
why does the sound of a train whistle transport me back to my childhood?
what was my thought process when i created that art piece?
who was it that influenced my photography?
if i can't translate all of this to my reader, i am just "adding to the noise of the blogsphere."
with all of this in mind, i hope to move my readers to share their comments, entertain them, and make them want to return to my blog....often.
