i had not been there since i was 17.....
i vaguely remembered the riverwalk, but vividly remembered the
alamo. time had not changed either in some respects, although the
space in front of the alamo looked to be a bit smaller. behind the
alamo, the grounds were beautifully maintained and a lot prettier
than i could have appreciated those many years ago.
